I have a cold

29 degrees and falling. Snowing on and off.

I added a bit of stitch ( Thread Beads) to this one. A couple of days ago A was for Applique, today A is for Snow.  Laughing...

Jude I do hope you’re feeling better … in my minds eye I see you being warmed by that wonderful fire place in your amazing home slow stitching.

Cuddle down with feet up on the couch, and warm quilt, Jude – orange juice, as well as the hot soup. Hope you feel better soon. Very best wishes.

A is for chicken soup. A snowy day is a good time to have a cold and be bundled up in front of the fire with a cat on your lap. Get well soon.

i find havin’ a cold to be relaxing… stayin’ in my jammies all day ‘n takin’ a nap whenever i feel like it. oh, and sippin’ hot homemade soup while watchin’ a jude hill video!… love how your thread beads play with the polka dots… enjoy your down time ‘n stay cozy! x

  5. Well, better for A Snowy Day than An Avalanche! Sorry about your cold, mine was a couple weeks ago, ‘tis the season…. Love what you did with the black-and-white threads.

What is it about a cold that ruins a whole week? Why is a cold so easily caught? Who can one blame? Many times it’s from being with a child you love, and we would do it over if we could just be with them. Most of all, I wonder why we have gained no immunity by the time we’re this danged old?
Before I go… why do teachers always get sick, and doctors rarely do?
I hope you feel better soon. Enjoy a fire, and the snow. TY for your video. ✌🏼💙💪🏻

Laura~ Love your questions! Especially: Why is a cold so easily caught? Seriously!! I’m not at all good at athletic endeavors, can’t catch a baseball, football – you name it…but, colds? I was a pro! So many years with young children and yep, still low immunity!! haha
      Thanks for the smile tonight.
