A Cold, but at least not rainy, November morning.
The longer view is forming.
A, for a little more than just going.
A is where I started, the scraps, well, pulled from the basket of nothings in no particular order. I thought gee, they really don't seem similar, matching, but I bet they could work together anyway. Let me try. A is for Action. Which is like patchwork, in perspective.

how the central color palette melds seamlessly into the bigger view, expanding upward as well as outward, with the gently curving windows. your weaving from long ago feels right at home. there’s a timelessness to this light-filled space… u, soul-o ‘n your plants seem to be absorbing it ALL.. 🙂
Sometimes the peace comes from accepting the liquid puzzle. How it might happen.
(((Jude))) love your magic home sweet home, a sanctuary of peace and so much light!
It’s hugging me.
Love the “A” and ACTION’
A good motto for the next several years in particularly1
Yeah, for sure.
What an absolutely beautiful room. Ahhhhhh. And that piece, well what can I say that hasn’t already been said. I’m amazed at how your brain works Jude to create such incredible art work. I feel fortunate to be able to see it! And the wonders in your home. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for saying.
I just love that piece of weaving on your table. Your home and the views are so inviting. I hope that with all the alterations you have made that the round house now feels like your home. It looks so cosy and comfortable.
Yes, it has all settled out and I’m comfortable.
The weaving is from my college days.
Jude~ I can almost feel the cold in that first pic! 💕
Every new pic of your place, such a different view…all of those angles, curves, hints of circular movement – so inviting. Be well.
It was below freezing this morning. But the air was delicious.
Love the openess! The house radiates a feeling of ease and contentment.
I know it must feel way less drafty with the new heat! It will be a welcome change from last winter.
I become relaxed just by seeing the beautiful pictures you have shared.
Yeah, a lot of caulking and sealing too. It’s warm in here.
The inside of your home looks so cozy, warm and inviting.
It’s better now that some walls came down.
The long view… not quite as long here with all the hemlocks. Warm and inviting with all those plants on your table, and lots of light.
Trimming and cutting the dangerous trees close to the house has opened the view.
Stick season brings in the light! It all looks cozy and ready for winter!
Tis!
Absolutely. 🙂 Love all the light.
Yeah, so much more light now.
Your house is looking more like your home! Plants, woven pieces, cloth and Soul – o looking content😁 💙✌🏼
Yes, I’m home.
Just beautiful…resonates…and your living space…
this affirmation….yes…beautiful…
bravo you..
A beautiful day.
How do you get the image of the letter (A) on the fabric?
Indigo dyed over a patterned cloth using a pair of stencils , A shaped. The cloth is sandwiched between the stencils, clamped and then dyed. The stencils block the dye.
Wow. Thank you. I will have to try that myself.
You can research itajime, Japanese clamped resist. I learned from Glennis.

Yes, Action!
I used my extra hour for knitting. It gave me a web of lovely tangled dreams. Today I will straighten up the studio for the next project. Action indeed!
That’s the spirit.
Love it–gave me the boost I needed today. You go girl!!!
You too!
That longer view is lovely.
