Beautiful path. I keep walking the same path to our river and back. I see the Four Old Sisters (a small group of birch trees) and greet them. Walking clears my head and sorts out jumbled thoughts into new ideas. All the best, Katja.
Such a wonderland for you Jude.
An amazing healing place for you . To also have your family just down the road from you 🌸 you sound so much happier 🙏🌸🌻
Jude~ Your walking lane is like a deep breath being let out slowly. So peaceful. What a blessing this home is for you in so many ways.
These photos are really great ❤️
hi Jude,
Thanks for sharing…..you brought sweet memories to me this am when I saw the alpacas. I had a variety of color alpacas like your photo for fiber. I miss them, the process of their fleese but have the memories. I feel their fleece in my hands,
Thank you for the memories you gave me today.
Love taking the walks with you as the photos arrive – thanks so much and always a treat to see the strange and yet beautiful trees and lands. The Alpaca can be fun…quite a few!
Love the new artwork… can’t wait to see!

walks along country lanes with alpacas, decaying trees, and lots of seasonal changes. they truly can be an inspiration.
my campus has a decaying tree that they are taking down. students had been leaving fairy house stuff at the base including doors that were attached to the holes in the base and little figures. sad to see it go!
but those trees will become homes for others after they fall which I love.
Retired three weeks ago and now have a morning ritual of walking a mile and a half around my old neighborhood. Lots of big trees and small animals. Breathing better already. I’m in NE Ohio so have close to the same weather as you. So relaxing.
Good morning Jude,
The stories of life trees could tell. I grew up in a family/generations old house, on a dirt road surrounded by trees. Our nearest neighbor was a mile in any direction. I was the oldest of 6 daughters, I loved that time.
There was a little creek in back of the house, with a foot bridge, leading up to the old barn and orchard. I would wander up there and set for hours daydreaming of what my great grandmothers life must have been like. I live in town now and wish for the quiet world of country living. Blessings for you Jude and your quite beautiful tree filled life.
Nice, beautiful spot for a walk.
Old tree
Still standing
Against blue sky
Down dirt road winding
Time told
By the hour
Holds the story
In leaf and bower

They are very soft. The owner is a knitter. I look forward to some spinning an weaving!
Broken and hollowed out, but still alive! And no doubt still singing with the wind :-). I love reading your posts, and your photos are so vivid.
Some of the most beautiful musical instruments are hollow. I thought that when read your words.
Oh, it’s such a good thing that your son is nearby!
Yes, lucky.
Oh, it’s just lovely that your son is nearby !
To me, an ideal situation.
Be well and happy. You have great fortune.
Love.
Yes, just going is easier…

They are so funny really.
Oh the stories the ancient trees could tell…🌀 I love your walking path. Lots of time for thinking new thoughts…
The emptiness and quiet are food for peace
How lucky you are to live so close to your son! And, I look forward to seeing how the presence of those trees shows up in cloth.
So convenient, in the middle of nowhere but not really.
Sitting with this one today.

It’s amazing g how long they stand, offering food and shelter even while decaying.

Wandering…………how i love that………..
Makes everything new…
Beautiful old trees 💚
Nice long walk 👍🏻 I need to do that, but it’s too hot and sudden thunderstorms when it looks sunny!
💙✌🏼
It did rain on me!
Magical!!!
I would love that walk 💚
( No cars, no people! Ha)
And those trees…old trees make my heart sing!
Yeah, really quiet, heard the sound of owl wings overhead.
LOVELY☺️🪽
Oh, olde Trees are the best. I often visit my dying Honey Locust down in the Woods by the Lake. I speak with her…let her know she is not forgotten.
Love trees. Love your work.
Trees with history and autonomy….Jude’s….
