W

W is for wishing. And Wishing Star. ( I'm back to the alphabet but I'll talk about that later.)

There was a feeling that he was wishing for a quiet day.

I went with that. And here we are.

A Wishing Lion

Some rainbow play, kept me sane. Wishing for expanded vision.

A wishing place

The Cabin.

I wished for it to be a place to gather.

And a quiet shelter from the storm (s).

W is for Welcome.

The tiny wood stoves they put into the rented shepherd huts (on wheels) might be a good size. I love the lion: “the he of she” I call them. The beckoning cabin … such a comforting sight for the heart! So glad you are feeling better, stronger.

The lion 🦁 is fabulous as is the beautiful photo of your cabin and all that beautiful colour green.
Feels like everything is coming together for you Jude 💖🌻

Thus is becoming so much more than a place to be….it’s a place to grow a life of your own design, and dreams you might have thought would never be possible. The coming winter will be so different! Thank you so much for sharing.

Jude~ So much love the lil ‘woosh’ against the points of the Lion’s wishing star. The expressions shares so much.
The cabin is looking dreamy…the wishes spilling out onto the porch. A restful spot for sure.

Oh, that cabin, like your round house, in the woods, a space for quiet, for peace, for joy💚☺️ (wheee!)
It says, “I am here for you, Welcome”
    Wonderful shelter💚💚💚

  6. Lots more possibilities with heat. Did you put a mini-split in there, too? If so, it is also welcoming to those that can’t deal with heat and humidity. (unfortunately, like myself with Histamine Intolerance). Looks lovely sitting there beaming out it’s welcome. I’m thinking about the old stories from Slavic mythology about the house spirits, the “Domovoy.” There’s a sense for me in many structures of welcoming energy or not so much. Maybe it helps if one honors the Domovoy, even if just naming a place as welcoming. 😊

I enlarged the photo of your cabin, closed my eyes, ,and wandered the path around your cabin; it gives such a sense of serenity and welcome and I think it is all to do with the land, the trees, the greenness.

What came to me were these W words: wisdom well. I’ve never heard this expression so I did some research and this phrase does indeed exist: ” A wisdom well can refer to several things, including a metaphorical wellspring of knowledge and insight, a physical well in Norse mythology, or a brand name associated with wellness and personal development. It often symbolizes a place where one can draw upon deep understanding, guidance, and resources for navigating life’s challenges and transitions. ” Perhaps this fits where you are in life, it certainly wraps around me as does your cabin porch…

I think so Marti, a wonderful set of W words. I could just live in this cabin honestly. It calls to me to be used. it is in a wilder spot and so minimal in its presence. I realize it needs my attention in a way I had not thought about. It will help me accept this place as home.

Hello Jude! What a wonderful space you are creating both inside the
Main House and the Cabin! Dreams coming to Life. Wondering if the Cabin is large enough for your weaving looms???
Challenges are baffling and much of the time they seem to overwhelm us.
I sometimes hesitate to make changes to improve an area…. due to my
73ish years of existence, older age doesn’t dampen the “want” in my mind.
No one knows the the future .. age doesn’t need to define our enjoyment while we live! Follow your heart ..it holds a trail to the
contentment that is to come. Thank You! For sharing your dreams.

So good to see one of your Lions 🦁 💛 So many wishes possible in your Rainbow Star 🌈🌟
The Cabin looks welcoming, it pulls you towards it. A little woodburning stove would be like a hug, and so cheerful.

The expressions which you get on all your strays and others…with the least amount of lines..you create a look which tells an entire story…you truly are a cloth and thread whisperer …sheer magic !
    Thanks Jude.

  12. Love, love, love the lion/cat face and your plans for the cabin…it makes sense. I am dreaming big and trying to figure out what makes the most sense for me right now too so that there is space to share…
