Becoming and Unbecoming aka Story

Good Morning...

It's raining. Dark. I set up a better lamp.

I'll work with the Wishing Tree idea a few more times. Probably nine. Give one thought a chance to become another.

These pants are no longer worth patching.   The cloth is disappearing. They have a bit of stretch.  Lycra.  That's the part that is causing the decay.  Like Nylon, exposure to the sunlight will cause weakness.  I'll save the patched parts.  To remind myself that I tried.  And the patches held.

There is an outdoor party later today. Someone becoming older.  Season is turning.  It will stop raining.  There is only a slight chance of hail and wind. 😂  Gotta love it.  I'll drink some wine and stay up too late,

Later...

I cut out the patches from Mark’s jeans….he’d had enough of them!….and used them on mine ☺️
Enjoy the outdoor party 🥳 🎉 🎊 and happy Summer Solstice 🌞🌦

My son would often ask me to patch his jeans. I can’t bear to part with them now. There’s many a stitched story there. I’ve thought about cutting the patches out and using them somewhere else…
