How it is…

It is warmer.  At least for a few days.

The sun is out.

Somehow I clicked publish by mistake so let's leave it at that.

  1. Oh, the beautiful light! Thank you. Much appreciated in these dark times! And the jumble of threads reminds me of the story of the Old Woman who weaves the World & stirs the pot of Life. (my version at https://trickstershoard.com/2024/12/21/a-story-for-solstice/ ). I can just imagine you, Jude, sitting with the threads, looking at the tangle, hearing a thread calling to you, and reaching out to begin — as you do so magically — to make a World. Is that what we are all called to do?

  2. Sunshine, wind chime, and threads… there’s definitely a story there. And if it’s anything like here, today, I’m hearing the sound of ice and snow melting from the roof in a drip, drip, drip drip drip rhythm to your photo.

last week I saw a cardinal in the early morning sunrise which was so nice. I find them to be here a harbinger of spring. even more so than robins.

and we are hitting the 60’s this week.

sun and fiber what. more is there that we need.

    Your thread is beautifully a-jumble!
Believe it or not, I’m working in the Garden. Just sprucing it up a bit. We’re expecting another Polar vortex in the next week or two, so not going too far. ‘Twill be 70 (the temps, not me, lol)! Such a tease.

Nonetheless, we know you’re busy with your camera – another superb shot, backs of chairs, all that wool! the lovely pins, and the rainbow light. Golly, Jude – weaving perhaps?
    Glad it’s getting warmer.
