Reconsidering in February

Good Morning.

Just looking, at Haven, aka Safe and Open... cropped out the top section.  Considering how to move forward. In some simpler wayThere's been not much time during this cold snowy streak.  But there is always time for looking.

i like it better this way

It snowed quite a bit overnight. The plow just went by. I am on my way out to check the entrance situation.  With my shovel.  I'm on Bruno duty this morning, Montessori  is closed this week for winter break.  Mommy and Daddy have to work.

It was a fairy dust sort of snow.  Should be ok.  Light as a feather.

I wish needle and thread could fix stupid.

You are very creative. Your work inspires. Enjoy Bruno. Little ones grow so fast.
First impression was a glowing pyramid with a stream of floating feathers beneath…then I focused on the area below the feathers and realized maybe it was a house with a glowing roof, and feathers blowing by. I do love your feathers. Feathers bring a lot of warmth in a down comforter. and wool is warm, too.
My friend had her baby, My grandson skid into a tree and survived unscathed, but his car died for good. Thankful for air bags in cars.

It’s interesting how allowing the space for flow, how it changed the image. It became more dream like. Maybe that’s why I can’t settle into one form, but still it comforts me.
      Yay for new life!
Oh, gosh, whew! It’s so icy here it has been scary driving.

I see something different in this cloth. I feel that streak of wildness running. It is tucked but continues to flow like feathers in a deep slow warm wind, even with chaos and everyday journeys continue around me. THIS IS ME IN CLOTH FORM, When you are able to let go of this, I would like it for my wall to remind me of those creative wild thoughts are still running in me. I too have had an awakening year. Thank you, Jude, Cheryl Hanna

This one has been so slow, it keeps changing. I’m letting it be as it fits to my days. We’ll see what happens.
Me in cloth form, loved that.

It will always be changing as we let it. isn’t everyday new? Waiting patiently for you to know the end. Cheryl Hanna
Then it will be the beginning for me. Thank you Judd

Yes, everything us always changing, our lifeblood. That is why I avoid reserving ot promising my work away before it is done, sometimes I end up cutting things into pieces and using them to solve other puzzles… I’m just going. 🙃

Your home even feels safe to me, although I have never been there. Just now I identify that truth, and smile at my good fortune.
And your thought, ” I wish needle and thread could fix stupid…” I immediately pictured T. and all his cabinet sitting around their big conference table with needle and thread. Maybe, as you suggest, a cure for stupid.

“I wish needle and thread could fix stupid.” — If only.
Thank you for your work and your words, Jude. You are much appreciated!

Aw, Bruno duty!! 😍 Lucky you guys!
Love the World Teepee Portal as such a place of pretty and restfulness.
Don’t know how we mend this world at the moment.

I dont know what you mean with “cropped the top”🤔 but its stunning and it amazes me that you keep coming up with new ideas without end!
I never laugh as much as i do when i spend time with my little grandsun🌞

There is a link to another post if you click on Haven, the piece is bigger, I photo cropped it because I might make it smaller.
      Bruno has a big laugh.

Your beautiful piece there could be called “Staying Afloat.” Deceptively calm, yet precarious.

On a more positive note, have fun with Bruno!!🤍🤍🤍

Another thought- provoking, beautiful piece, Jude.
I guess ‘stupid’ might encompass cruelty, lack of compassion, self-interest above all others, and all such heart-breaking ways. Thank you.

If needle could fix stupid, we would be busy old crone spider women indeed!!! 🕸️ 🪡🤐😡♀️💪
Ohhh, revel in your Bruno time, you lucky grandma!!💙🎉

I LOVE your wish: “I wish needle and thread could fix stupid” 😅 Wouldn’t that be great?!

I am in awe of your strength, still, to shovel. My back is trashed (even after 5 surgeries in 5 years, or maybe because of it) and I have COPD, can’t carry a few folded towels from the dryer to linen closet without gasping and having to rest awhile after.
Count your bazillion blessings, kid. Hugs! 😘

Spying an open window ready for a newer view held by the roundness of many logs. Can’t think of anything better than called for baby duty, what fun you two must have!💞

Like stick a needle in his eye? It’s hard to see now but we are moving in a better direction. The dark will fade away the more we live and shine our light.

I love this piece — round world/universe holding the home. The light and the deep darkness — shelter to hold us midst the complexity and vastness.
