WTF

Ding!

Fire was still going,,,a good start

#1 in a series

Yeah, so,  it's above freezing today.

And it didn't snow.  Just some light rain before we get down to -3 tomorrow.

So, some extra time this morning. Yesterday was chore day.  Lotsa wood stacked inside, driveway shoveled

I began a new series with coffee.

I'll call it WTF.  There will, apparently, be lots to work with in terms of inspiration.  Working in a series can really help me sort out my thoughts.

It seems odd that the phrase What the Fuck is defined as a rude phrase used to show that you are surprised or annoyed, or do not care about something.  But I am confused and feel it is more of a reaction to the same.

Great post captured my thoughts/ brain function correctly. Reminded me of a paper I wrote in high school how fuck is not a dirty word just a way to express so much. I believe I got an “A” on the paper but teacher didn’t want any other teacher to see it. 😊

Love this! I just started a series of little tapestries called 28 Days (a reference to some medical stuff that’s going on). There’s going to be lots of WTF in that series, too! I totally agree that working in a series can help sort things out. Hard to believe everything that is swirling around us right now. Thanks so much for being here & sharing your life with us! Keep warm!

Love it , the expression says it all! And yes , much inspiration to be had these days…. everywhere, even across the pond here in Scotland 😒

I really had to laugh when you mentioned that there is lots of inspiration around for the WTF series. So good also to have a sense of humor about things. Thanks so much for providing such a lovely corner on the internet that I feel connected to.

Gotta say I do believe most of us, certainly in our little group here, are feeling the very same. ( As is a giant portion of the world)
    I love your expressions, Jude.
    So illustrative and evocative.
    WTFrickin’ hell, indeed
My cousin is a Hollywood screenwriter; even he couldn’t make up this garbage.
    😵‍💫
    ….I gotta get more seeds….

Hilarious but hate swearing…..seems not so imaginative and less poetic than it deserves for an exclamation of the unexpected….love your stitchin though !

Jude, I love your new series theme; no doubt it will be revealing and possibly instructive. I wish you insight, as you begin this series, and totally agree with the comments here. Wise words from Nancy: ” It may last our lifetimes “.

  8. Jude~ Oh how this face captures my morning phone call with Social Security!! 😂
I love it!! You really do make the most expressive faces.
I think the WTF series could last our lifetimes. Oy.

Jude, I love the face on the moon. You have captured melancholy and confusion. Yay to the series.
One of my favorite places to get news is a newsletter called
“What the Fuck Just happened today”. For free he summarizes the days news, in about one page, and gives you links if you want to know more. It is a sip of overview amidst the firehose of details. I recommend it. I have trouble though when people ask me things I reliably read to say the title 🙂 WTFJHT
