next step…

Honestly, I'm not feeling at home unless I am making holes in the walls.  Lucky for me, the inner dividing walls are sheetrock. Sorting through the unfinished here, trying to get myself in gear.

To the shop...

A few loose dyed patches in the shop today, some on wool, it's very very cold outside.

I'll go put another log on the fire.

this is soooooo exciting! the nesting process has begun! there’s something about patchwork pinned to white sheet rock that feels inviting. and love that rough wooden door on the right…

It looks like you are making yourself at home. Punching holes in walls is a sign of belonging. The little pieces all look happy.

Seeing your recent patches on your wall is proof that you’re putting your stamp on your new digs! There is no other place like it, Jude.❄️🤍

I finally picked up a needle today and patched a hole in the knee of my pants…had to stop the cold air from creeping in, ha!
I’ve been thinking of round cabins too…haven’t quite got my head wrapped around that yet.
    Stay warm!

Talk about an old fashioned winter, and Ohio is having one. Ice fishing looks promising so many will be happy. Your photo of the cloths on your wall is quite clever and creative, as always, thank you for sharing your journey!

  6. Nice to see things hanging on your walls. Quite invigorating bringing in wood, chopping kindling, filling bird feeders. Windy as hell, “feels like” 4º. Rhu is in and out constantly. Nice by the fire after and hour working outside!
