H

Hello.

A little new building has begun.

Trees are on my mind.  Another big dead one broke off.  Part of it is hanging over the road in and par of it is leaning toward my neighbor’s shed.  It costs a lot to remove a tree.  Oh well.  More wood for somebody.

The light has changed since they took down the  Hollow tree.  It’s funny how you might be hollowed out and still standing.  H might be for How it might Happen.  That pretty much covers everything for now.

Sad for losing another tree but another will grow in it’s place. It’s the way of trees.

The oaks got hit hard with gypsy .other this year, they say next year will be a killer around here.
I kinda miss the acorns hitting the roof. 😂

  2. Trees, like people, can look differently on the outside. You may not know what’s going on inside them.
I love visiting Japanese gardens and shrines where the trees are cared for as beings. Elaborate trimming and supports are placed where needed.
H for hollowed and also for hallowed.

Hollow! Many trees lost here from ant and other insect infestation. Thinking of the red bellies Hammering Holes to Hide seed.
I’m yearning downed Hardware for just a tiny new Hut Hidden somewhere! Beautiful colorful tree. Our journeys continue! 🌳🙌🌱💖

  4. My brother helped me take down two small trees that were right against the house while we were painting…it was amazing what a difference that made. Love the sense of nine patch as the tree trunk.

And just think of the light that now hits the forest floor, and all the lovely things that will now grow and reach up in that warm sunshine!
All part of the Circle…( ‘tho we human beings tend to yearn for a “snapshot moment” in perpetuity)

Oprah Winfrey once said, “We can’t become what we need to be by remaining what we are.” This tree appears to be embodying this! 🎈
