A Step Back

C ( again) is for Change.

A very old self portrait.  When what I imagined might happen  was still what I thought might happen.

I keep reevaluating what I constantly hear.

You cannot change what has happened. You cannot go back.

Today a floating self.

She knows she can change her mind.

That is all she needs to know.

And since I am back to C today, I may as well say C is for Cat.

Soul-O

I just like this picture.

And C can be for Community...  Debra  has joined the Ragmates Page.

Might be that we will just realize it after a while.
It is quite spooky to think about for too long. What is all this we feel is real?

  1. Stared at your painting for a long while, Considering. This is the longest I’ve been without cat in my life. That’s something that needs to Change.

You never know how taking a different path or fork in the road will change your life. Choices and chances for change. Sometimes it’s your decision, sometimes not.
Yes to C is for Cats; as I look back over my life I remember my best friends were (and are) cats.

I so love the looking back and looking forward as a diagram of change…it is such a good thing, truly a good practice. Your self portrait is a great looking back looking forward opportunity – I love it!

C- for CONNECT for me for this year.
    i also saw this:
    The three C’s of life:
    Choices
    Chances
    Changes
You Must make a choice to take a chance or life will not change.
    and Courage
    xx

  5. “C” is for Continuing 🙂 Community is one of the most important words, I think. Nice to see Debra here with the other ragmates.
I looked at everyone’s photos and words again today, which is so nice to see now and then. I was especially nice to see this photo of Michelle and her “Hi I am Michelle and I am still here”. Yes, you you are Michelle. ❤️

Great self portrait, Jude! You are going well. It is not easy after so long a relationship, but you are going and that is the best thing you can do.

I need to learn that! Change at how you look at change.
    Soul-o looks like he’s thinking 💭 I just need a nap ok!
    Love the floating self 💚

  8. It’s kind of like, “look both ways before you cross the street.” We need past and future for change. 🙂 I like that picture of Soul-o too. It is so very cat-like.

Go back, every now and then. Perspective changes everything! Like rereading a book, the book hasn’t changed…but the Reader has, and so the Book changes! New eyes, new Vision.
    Hello, Soul-o, you beautiful Cat!
