We had a terrific lightning and rainstorm last night. Sunshine this morning. The extra texture and depth that your stitches add to peace make it so much more.
I love to stitch on the porch! Perhaps you need one of those lights that clamp to the edge of the table ( so it cannot blow over!)
Love Soul-O’s little ears 😻
Blazing hot today, thus indoor projects–painting shelves, installing headboard at the back entry….
Home projects never seen to end, ha!
I love how you design-mend with stitch 💙🪡
yeah I need something like that.
Home projects, just got through so many of them here and now I gotta move and start over!
Nothing is perfect and love this method as a reminder that it is ok.
Rain, rain, rain, indeed. Awoke to a monsoon. Dark and dreary and Rhu and I are feeling sleepy. He, though, went with it, like Soul-o there, under the table 😽 How nice to have a tree guy who doesn’t like to take down trees. Inner peace is a good thing to create, I’m hoping for that today.
gosh, the rain here is wild today,
Yeah he found ants had really destroyed the base so he agreed it is dangerous. He’s been fight to save this tree ever since I moved here.
Inner peace, maybe I should also call it wishful thinking!
Your string of days sound wonderful to me. Our hot spell out here in the west has been broken by a glorious rain and thunder filled 24-hours, Not that it will last, but the break has been much needed.
Your peace-themed block is perfect as far as I’m concerned.
The light shifting really is such a lovely thing.
So glad you got ahold of the tree guy.
Enjoy your rain. We have 90° -100°+ until Thursday when we go down to the 80°’s. No rain coming our way, yet.
Thunder and lightening woke me up around 11:30 last night. It lasted for about 30 minutes and now rain this morning. Garden really needs it. A lamp on the porch is a nice idea…
Thoughtful reflections. You sound at ease with what is…
We are having a string of triple-digit days. It most certainly isn’t the worst it has been, so there’s that, at least. Comparisons do provide perspective. I want more color in my surroundings, and mustard is my favorite. So I bought an old, mustard painted, very primitive cutlery box in which to put Fall drieds in the coming weeks. Something that simple lifts my heart ..
I too, have started collecting summer / fall dried plants and seeds. I find simple joy in peeling the silver dollar plants, saving the seeds and putting the shining septums in an old cider jug.
Hi Nancy: Sounds very Imagination Prymm to me. Since the old platform shut down, I miss seeing the treasures of nature that you pick up on your walks. And Early American mustard is one of my favorite colors.

Peace — one day at a time.
You have such a lovely sitting place with a wonderful view and even a cat. Perfect!
It’s pretty perfect, yes …

The storms here have been just crazy! Power just went down again.
Perfection is overrated.🙃

Re: Inner peace/wishful thinking, I listened to a good podcast today, it helped with letting go of everything.

Nothing like some good rain to clear the air,
The imperfect is the most perfect thing to work with.
The light shifting really is such a lovely thing.

It’s raining so hard, I cannot see…
I see Soul-o taking a nap!
What a great composition!
Thanks for sharing💞
Yeah, he is giving me ideas…

Maybe leave a jar of mustard on the table too, ha!
Yum!
I was recently told that a shot of mustard helps relieve leg cramps, so there’s that. haha
Yes, mustard is good for you. I make my own.
Yes, and it instantly relieves heartburn!
