In response to your response to my comment: we know what we actually communicate by the very simple act of the responses that we receive. At times, my words illicit a thoughtful response that tells me that people get what I am communicating. When they don’t get it, they let me know and that give and take, lends itself to further conversations. Further conversations lead to continued connection and that to me, is so worth the initial effort of putting words out there…
Image and I think of the word reflection. As we try to capture an image, a thought, an intangible that we want to make actual, there is a reflective quality in the attempt. I use words more than I use visual materials so that lends itself to interpretation but in doing so, there is the sense of needing my words to reflect the image that I hold in my mind; the emotions that lead me to want to put the words forth, so that the desire, want as well as the need to share and use to connect with others., forms a minds-eye image…
to make a thought visible
for/to self and then, to show others, to share ?
maybe not “thought”, but the
experience
of someThing. to make visible, to communicate communication
That is a very Romantic concept. Romantic, as in era—late 1700s, early 1800s. The external world is merely the inspiration, but when it is taken in by the artist, through his Imagination and then created in form, it is a whole new creation. Interesting photo.

Yes and these days it is rarer for folks to try to get it than just to just walk away without trying.
a photographic or painted image says something about the person who took or painted the image, so a “copy” is a very limited description.
Yes. Words are complicated.
Maybe they are rather complex in stead . We tend often to feel that as being complicated?
Maybe. Maybe believing in them too much makes them complicated.
The road to home, or away from it…. Interesting image as a representation of the reality.
I saw it quite differently this morning.
There is for me a sense of Magic, of the unknown in the photo…the blurred surrounding the know… a metaphor for our life, perhaps, it says to me.
yes, this rings true to me.

Thought is really the embodiment of experience to me, it’s so fluid really. To communicate any of it is so big!
So visual, gray tones fabulous and over all t
i recognize the fog in it.

mysterious all of it, knowing what is there for you may not be there for anyone else in like form.
