I struggled with getting the clamping right. But then hey, peace is really not about easy or perfect is it? Maybe it is more about acceptance.
It's hot, the wild stuff has gone wilder. I guess the whole place here has become the garden... the stuff that just grows sustains me.
I need to take some time away. Not sure how much. Stories later.
The only true peace I’ve ever known in this life happened when I was broken. Utterly broken. Broken beyond hope and broken beyond despair. It didn’t last more than a heartbeat but within that moment something quiet and pure inside of me and spoke aloud into that peace:
“I want this, not that”.
And then it was gone. But the thing is, ever since that moment…without even thinking about it, every breath, every thought, every word and every deed have led me to where I am now…and it’s peaceful.
I wish you the spirit of peace, Jude…and I wish you a peaceful place.
