I don't know what day it is mostly.
I have to check.

This picture, a couple of days ago. It grabbed my attention and I am still holding the image for later.
The thread nest became a thread loaf during a long phone conversation, without me noticing. I just kept holding it and moving in it from had to hand. I put it down and I like it this way.
I have no particular focus but there is plenty to keep me busy. Most everything here is in between.

I like your thread mound! and the cloth weaving 💙
You’ve reminded me that I want to add thread to my paper…
Me too .
No worries — it’s still early in the month. Retirement means losing track of days; weekends aren’t so much fun anymore. I love the thread weaving; I wish arthur would let me hold a needle longer than 5 minutes. Our heat wave has begun–109 today and predicted over 100 for the next 10 days.
I really cannot imagine 109.
This takes me way back to Girl Scout camp, 65 years ago, where I was first introduced to and came to love the woods. I can practically smell your yard from here; ahhhhh! Thanks for sharing.
It does smell divine!
Is that a ‘stink tree’ (Tree of Heaven)? Looks like. We have those here and they take over! You sure have a green jungle going there.
I love the loaf – looking at all of those colors, noticing different ones. Plus, ‘loaf’ is a favorite word around here, well for him. It is fun to say!
I can relate to that last sentence. Enjoy in between and busy.
Somewhere along the way I realised that the majority of my time in this life is spent in the ‘betwixt and between.’ When my attention is focused here, instead of on the pivot points, all tends to be clear, easy, and fluidly timeless. Your posts and this community remind me of this so very, very sweetly.
Somewhere in between worrying about past and future. Now. I guess. Just going and often pleasantly surprised. Here we are.

💚Verdant!
The only way I keep track, mostly, is Weds is trash day and sat/sun hubby is home😅
I forget the trash a lot but it’s ok because I hardly have any. When the compost starts to stink, it reminds me…
Well done Jude! That’s a lot!
Managing technology can be cumbersome, frustrating and at times requiring backup support…which is my case at the moment.
Enjoy a mug of tea feeling most satisfied with your successful accomplishment! 🩷 Carol
Anything is enough!
I enjoyed this post 🙂
Real life can be quite entertaining!

👋
It looks like a rainforest out there. Beautiful. And the loaf of threads look like promises.
The loaf of threads looks like a sculpture (of clay)
And I can shape it like clay!
our hands often tell us what to do
Like eyes, they connect…
I wonder what a thread self would look like?
Oh, I imagine that quite clearly! I love you!
It’s Tuesday. I know because my phone reminds me to move my car or get a $70 street sweeping ticket. Then I knock doors if neighbors have forgotten.
I deny the city of much revenue on an annual basis.
It’s my teeny tiny weekly victory.
At least these phones are good for something. . . 🤣
In your corner of the universe they are ruthless that way. My son lives nearby and talking about Parking is like how we talk about weather here.
Wish I had your intuitive instinct. I would love to have you sense of direction and the unwavering drive to make beautiful stitches and items. Your property is so beautiful. Your wall of stones mesmerize.
Maybe it is about no direction…😂
Hey Jude!
Have you ever tried stitching in the dark?
Simply intuitive.
Needle and thread passing quietly thru the cloth…going where it wil.
I just received a package of some beautiful new threads, and I think I’m going to let my needle take them for a walk tonight…
Yall stay Cool!
That little black moth in a backdrop of green is striking! Enjoy your in-betweenness!
Can’t seem to see where I left or where I am going! Ha.
Not in the dark but with my eyes closed!
