Shape Shifting

Not a lot of words.

But still there is imagining. Which leads to going.

clouds coming together

what's needed has shown itself

shape shifting with no words

It' s 60 degrees and I am going outside.

When i cover the right side of the face on the photo i see a grumpy, maybe annoyed, very serious face. The other side is gentle, warm, friendly, smiling.
Love how they both become one face. I can relate very much 😉

  3. Love the cat… seems like a very cosmic cat. What a difference a day makes! Yesterday, it wasn’t too hot, but the humidity was awful, today, 65 at 11:45 with low humidity. Phew, I’ll take it!

Not many words from me today, either . . . but I LOVE that shape shifting stray self. Here on the high desert, it’s cool in the morning . . . enjoying the quiet coolness . . .

I live in the desert of New Mexico, central region, not far from Albuquerque so when I tell you that over the weekend, I shape shifted into a mermaid, it is not a joke! Central New Mexico does not do floods, drought yes, but not floods so when the rains came on Saturday and we received flash flood warnings, it was a big deal. In the 11 years that we have lived here, this was a first.

Over in Albuquerque, they received 1.5″ of rain in 90 minutes, stranding over 140 cars that led to rescues. Minor damage to the basements of city hall and the police department. We had a power outage for about 4 hours and in my front yard, you could float a boat. Now I like to think of myself as a Celtic wise old owl of a woman or a desert hag but shape shifting into a mermaid….well, you just never know what you turn into when the unforeseen comes calling!!!

    Like wisps of Spirit
    They ebb and flow,
    Like Spiritual Waters
    They shift and go
    Transforming into
    Whatever my eye beholds,
    And then twisting and drifting
    Their airy forms
    Ever-manifold…
