Moments of Going

Ding!

hello

This is reassuring, some part of me resurfacing...  Joy lives.loose ends

the carpet

I keep looking at this

There are a lot of carpets here.  Many from Turkey but many from a discount store here in the US, I bought them cheap because they had flaws and nobody had seemed to appreciate imperfection back then.  And many of those kilim style carpets have nine patch designs,  and wishing stars.  Probably no one noticed that either.

the wall

early morning reflection

Light and shadow on the wall, early, it's still cool.  But I see the heat waves.  Probably because I have been programmed by expectation.   I think about that lately.  Maybe being prepared is not about programming.  Who can know anyway?

Probably more about acceptance. And just going.

one stitch at a time

How Just Going (aka Balancing Act) is going.

hungry for change

And a big moon seems to be changing everything.

I like your thoughts it is given me inspiration. I hope you are better now. I must laugh about your little drawing. Yes things can change by time or by the weather or the light.
It is good to think of time but not too much. Thanks for the sharing and your beautiful pictures.

Such fun to see your little garlic person on awaking this morning 😂I love your sense of humor Jude when there’s so much heat around it’s good to have a laugh 🌸🤩stay cool 😎😊 we usually have around 35/49 degrees in summer where I live . Some days the only thing to do is turn on the air-con and chill out 🥶 big hugs 🤗🌷

    Garlic guy makes me smile.
Wouldn’t we be so much happier without expectations; accept what just comes and fewer disappointments. Somehow I don’t think our brains are wired that way.

Love that little garlic person, so sweet! And the 9 patches everywhere . . . and your drawing . . . Happy Solstice!! It’s so good to start feeling better after life has handed us unexpected things. I’ve been doing a major studio clean-out – setting things up to reflect who I am at this moment & what I want to do now. It was a lot of work but I love the change it has made in how I feel – looking forward to new work in a “new” space!

  6. Love how Just Going/Balancing Act is evolving. I’m really drawn to the center colors today… color can be so nourishing. Good to hear that parts of you are resurfacing and, most importantly, that JOY LIVES!

So glad you are finding yourself again from your wandering and changes.
Some lost days may come and go… but, we know they will pass.
Uncertainty pushes many of us to forge through the change and find a new way to find ourselves again.
    Cheers to you!

Oh, the Strawberry Moon! Hope we have a break in the clouds…the Lady will be particularly enchanting! I like your Onion guy. Too cute! The Echinacea are looking tired. Must deadhead!
