Ding!
We, me and Soul-o, are outside early before it gets too hot.
The Stitch.Β The Thread. The Time. The Thought.
I say to myself, how much it changes everything that stands, that which moves through.
I need both to realize Oneness.
I may change the name of this cloth from Balancing Act, to Just Going.
I am feeling better.Β Little by little.Β Thank you for your caring comments and well wishes.

Blessings.π₯°

Beautiful, and I like “just going.”

Sending you big hugs Jude π€π€π
Got’m…!!!
Jude~ I’m glad to hear you are feeling better, bit by bit…patchwork healing. Colds in the heat are…blech.
You are even hotter than I am here at the moment. Wild. We’ll be in the 90’s again soon though and the air quality remains bad. I really dislike not being able to open the window/door, but I can feel the smoky air…so, nope.
May you heal quickly, stay cool enough and stitch with joy and ease.
Yes, again, patchwork, in perspective! β€οΈ
L0ve.
I am sending you thoughts of peace and wonder, comfort and joy….
There is only life and my perspective and I can change my perspective.
L0ve.
yes we can
Cats and sunshine go together like needle and thread. Earthy sunshiny colors–I have always loved spirals — they go in circles but really go somewhere.
Stay cool.
i like that they can be going in either direction… they rock back and forth in my mind.
Thatβs my go to when heat arrivesβ¦get as much of the early morning cool as possible until the sun sets.
Hope the heat there doesnβt last too long.
not used to it, looks like a week or so…
Sweet Soul-o!
Mending, good to read. It’s a slow proces, mending. Healing.
I love the spirals in your cloth.
slow but then suddenly poof! better.
the spirals gave me energy, or were a sign that energy was returning …maybe.
I like how open you are to changing names. Sometimes I want to change mine…
So glad you’re on the mend.
seems to simple reflect how it goes, I change soul-o’s name often too, he always comes. π
So glad you are feeling a little better! Hoping for cooler weather for you & your area! Yaβll are hotter than some of our Deep East Texas days???
Crazy hot, and the gypsy moths are ravenous. Poor Oaks look ragged.
So many changes in your recent journey, new views. Thought of winter hibernation, I’m tending to more of that in this season. Oh SoulO imagine he’s taken on more a kindred task and feeling proud. He’s so beautiful!
today, all I can think of is change, and it’s good?
He is a fine boy!
Glad to hear you are on the mend. Cats just keep going, which is what you do which is what we all try to do.,β€οΈπ»
what else is there?
I, sometimes, get attached to a patchwork piece before itβs quilted and then Iβm reluctant to quilt it because of the change that it makes. But then it gets stunted. Set aside and never blossoms I guess. Iβm glad youβre feeling better.
This is exactly right. I get attached to ideas or visions and then I have trouble when reality gets in the way π
it’s all good really.
maybe use it as a curtain!
or accept change, ha!
Cheer and well wishes for you and Soul-o this morning, Jude.
we got to take a cool wander for a bit before going into hiding…
Good to hear youβre on the mend Jude π
Filling bird feeders and water in birdbaths we had a nice cool breeze early this morningβ¦ goes away too quickly! π₯΅
yeah, it’s gonna stay hot through the night for a few days, yuck…
I’m partial to the spirals π Good luck in the heat!
Ha! of course. It’s 91 already…
Good news Jude that you’re feeling a bit better – keep going and doing what you’re doing – it works !!!! I kept you in my thoughts all day yesterday after receiving your newsletter (thank you : ) and especially while I was “grounding” which I just started doing again after a pause, but now that I’m doing it again I’m so loving and enjoying the outcome : ) As always, your work is so so peaceful – that is why I have returned to you for so many years now – thank you for being here.
Healing Light and Blessings to you Jude – Sandra in AZ : )
Thank you for being here too!
Glad you are feeling better Jude. β€οΈ
Me too, what a drag…
May the healing process continue πΆπππ
Always love seeing Soul-oβ€οΈ

Sending healing and peaceful vibes your way. π΄

Oh, those beautiful browns and yellows and reds!! Calls to mind pioneering, which is what you do every day in your stitching! Our sweet little rescue dog, Pepper, and I get out every morning while it’s cool and quiet. Today we saw deer. So very glad you are recuperating!
I think of ragmates as pioneers, circle the wagons!
Good plan!

Glad you are feeling better. That’s something I learned from you…on a very practical level, the way the amount of stitching changes the cloth…how it holds and how it can actually make cloth from little pieces.
It is a kind of weaving…β€οΈ and I learn a lot about just going from you…
ugh, being sick in the heat makes it so much harder. glad your bettering.
my indigo is stunted, maybe this rain will help…otherwise i’ll replant after the heat moderates. healing hugs, plants all around.
I have some more seed, gonna plant late and see what happens
