Fool’s Day

Ding!

a dot is a good way to begin

So here I am.  Again A new month, a new folder for photos.  March, the month of the slower stitch I can say. Sometimes forever is just nice to float in. If you don't worry.

A Magic Sunflower

Wheel of Growing

Outgrowing Boundaries

Growth as Idea

I  don't have a lot of words today and mostly I am sitting with a lot of unformed thoughts. A lot of small cloth. And a basket of big questions. Looks like a few more days of big rain which is just perfect for wallowing in uncertainty.

Transformation of Energy

The Spin

Nine for a Little Green

Almost April Stray Blue Self

I am glad it is April.  The month of opening. Tomorrow is my Mother's birthday.

Each moment is like a present.  And the  rain  has  more  obvious  purpose.all the same but different

I have opened the Forever Zone in the shop for those who have inquired.  I will have a lot to say about how it might go, (all I  known now is I will begin with circles as design components) but for now I will use April to get myself reoriented, and add some of the older classes there, as promised.   And then I will begin to add new teaching content come (what) May.

  1. I did a lot of wallowing this weekend (such a funny word!)…it just seemed right. 🙂 Maybe the thing is that as long as we are just going, there is always time… And I love April, it’s such an exciting time to watch the garden unfold.

  3. There is something soft and dreamy about that buds photo…something forming, touched gently by your hand…house blurred in the distance. Lovely.
I’ve been thinking of your mama’s birthday 🙂

  4. I am often absent here, jude, but never too far offside ……

I do know, without a doubt, that for years I’ve loved traveling along and that will never – forever not – change. As a daughter of a true April Fool (father’s bday today) I’ve learned there are some things better to *not* be foolish about …. treasured companions is one of them.
    To April then! AND SPRING!!

    Dear Jude,
Remembering our mothers is definitely a shared piece of each year for us both. My mother;s birthday is April 5, 1920 and we lost her in October of 1993. I still find that April day to be a haunting one for me if I don’t think about what day it is, there is always an inner push to do something…and I will find some of her written words in her beautiful penmanship, a recipe a knitting pattern, a card and spend some precious time holding her in my heart. May your mother walk gently with you today as you remember her spirit.
    Much love,
    Kristin

Sunrise, yes!! I’m so glad it’s April, too. Our farmers markets will be opening soon and the quality of the light just seems to be getting better & better. Those blocks are beautiful, Jude! Just signed up for Forever Forever. I’m looking forward to circles, and whatever else is to come!

I love April, too, for its showers and rainstorms, its continual promise of blooms. Right now where I live is a profusion of Bluebonnets and sloping hillsides of Indian paintbrush…
Gorgeous gallery of imaginative works, Jude!

April is a magical month. the last vestiges of winter seem to be smaller and smaller. although there may be a few snowflakes in April we know it won’t stick around long.
