And that’s that…

Ding! a change of season overnight.

Poof.  Snow gone.  And she looks like a path this morning.

Wind Dancing

So the wind put me to sleep.  It was singing.  And the river woke me this morning.  It is quite literally roaring.  She was a December stray,  a December Dreamer. Now a January Dancer.  Each moment is a layer isn't it?  The promise of change.

Those of you that joined the Forever Zone. Expect a little Love Letter in February.  I've had a change of heart.

We were supposed to get more wind. I don’t see it yet. 50 degrees (which feels cold in SoCal), mostly clear. I love how she becomes what IS and her flailing arms and the way the dye lines look like wrinkles. Gotta love wrinkles!
Ah, yes….the sometimes and the ever and forever zone – Yay!!

  2. It seems as if she isn’t just dancing but singing too. 🙂 Less wind last night. Now not only are the forecasts changing constantly…depending on where you look they are completely different! Seems like anything could happen…

  3. two days of strong wind here … there was a picture in the paper of a local gas station that had its canopy blown down, where we had filled up our gas tank mere hours earlier … how trees bend where metal resists and then fails … may your tree self continue just so

Hurray for all change…even storms can be invigorating ( except the terrible kind that bring the wrong sort of change!)
Calm and sunny today…cold on its way ( rats) I stitched this a.m. on my woven/boro cloth (thank you for all the great techniques/ideas! I’ve been watching your older vids on u-tube)
Now I must go pick up sticks and limbs and pine cones…and figure out which plants to protect🥶
I love your wind-blown Self, VERY much
