Through Thick and Thin

Origin, through thicket and thin wood, A thicket is a densely wooded area, so it's naturally harder to get through than a "thin wood". The idiom through thick and thin is a way to describe something that will continue regardless of any troubles or difficult times in the way. Both thickets and thin woodland; (through) all obstacles in a path
