Considering Ghosting

Glossary sub-page

A personal term used to express the tendency for one thing to flow into another. To crossover.

Ghosting is a term I began using way back here, almost at the beginning of the blog. I use it a lot, in many yet unspoken ways, to build images. It has a lot to do with sympathetic evolution in design, and impressions. A very special kind of layer that often floats in between the planned and unplanned. The there and the not there. Seems a form of magic, a kind of appearing and disappearing. Time like.
I consider it as a form of dynamic composition.

I often use drawing to guide this process

again a crossover, this time in technique
