It’s all patchwork

yesterday

Chimney is clean.

Now it seems I need a new chimney cap.  It never ends.

I have time to get that done...will try to find someone.

This morning, after putting a few scraps together, I took a pic and loved the shadow.

Longer. Long cloth is like a path.  So. Just patching a way forward.  Might even call that.   Some gorgeous Deb Lacativa hand dyes here.  Some that I indigo dipped.

Have a good weekend.

I Love the shadow…..some serendipity for you, Jude. I glom on to any path I see….the word kind. It offers space to use in some way, and random thoughts to watch come and go. I especially am taken with the symbol of the path as our life.
It is 92 degrees at noon here in Portland, Oregon, with higher temperatures developing through the rest of the day. Yikes! Take kind care of yourself, Jude, and treat yourself in some small way today!😊.

loving the soft gradation of color in the shadow, forming a watercolor side view of a creature wearing a tall dr. seuss hat ‘n bow tie…

    Good morning Jude,
Interesting picture of new piece. The shadow looks to me, like the ragged edge of everything we’re seeing in the world. Shadows are a faults image of the truth and the truth becomes insignificant and doubted by being distracted by the shadows. Way too deep to think about on a beautiful Friday morning. Thoughts like this are very disturbing
    Enjoy your weekend.
