...or afternoon, probably, by the time I get to post this. Let's see.
Just a note...

I would like to buy access to the Forever Zone whenever you allow that. I can’t bear the thought of losing your “old stuff”. I’ve been following you since the New Jersey days and you are part of my mental life and I consider you a true friend. I sure hope little Solo gets to go outside pretty soon. ❤️❤️. LizinOregon
Alchemy! The paper and the cloth, the grounded back legs in the hopeful-feeling paper, the feather, 🪶 symbols and stances really touched me, looking closely at each and pondering changes.
Love your workspace. My long pine kitchen table is all marked up from when the kids were growing up and love it!
Are you worried that something will happen to Soul-O if you let him/her outside now?
Jude~ Always love this table story of yours! An everything sounds about right to me (reminds me of Grace’s). I have an everything lap/couch these days – food, bills, phone calls, weaving, sewing…it’s amazing what one can do on their lap! 😂
I do long for a table and a view though. I’ll just return to this pic and imagine. I like the day-night of the cloth/paper – things to consider here.
Staring out the window, yes. That’s more ‘doing’ than a lot of people realize it is. Watching, witnessing, and being present has been part of our physical safety and mental well being throughout time, but it’s either a special treat or a burden to so many nowadays.
Yes, settle into the way things are for you now. This is for you and us and personally, what works for you is what works! Your pieces are beatutiful and I love your desk, it and the view are comforting.
I, too, love the lightness of the paper piece, and there’s a wishing star, I think you call that, which I love on the paper. And all the little details there are like little mysteries to be discovered as the eye wanders.
I blew up the photo to see that wrought iron bird head (?) on the beam, curious about that!
In winter, when it’s really icy, or there’s inclement weather to deal with, I’d rather stay inside than trek over to the studio, so I think having a place to work in the house is always a good idea.
Will Soul-o go out someday?
This is very timely for me! I’ve launched into a BIG project to reorganize my studio space and materials. It’s been a long time since I’ve done this (just finished 2 years of medical treatment, all is well – Yay!!!) . . . I am so excited & looking forward to having things put together in a way that feels good, just in time for Fall. I totally appreciate light through windows, and knowing where your tools & materials might be when you need them. If you decide to teach in person, I will do my best to come even though it will be a long journey. Would love to take a class from you in person someday!
Hooray for you! I just successfully completed chemo and am starting to put the house back in order. It does take some time to get back to whatever normal is.
I love how you started this last recording- “yesterday I said some things”…
Ha! And followed by “for now”.
Emphasizing how everything is change. Moment by moment. ❤️

Oops! I meant Soul-O…
He can’t spell…😂
Gosh the time has flown hasn’t it. Thank you for being a travelling companion.
He is really being patient.

It’s like making soup

Ticks and wild animals, he is a bit too wild and wanders off.
I worry too much.
I always enjoy seeing pictures of your home. It’s so beautiful and fits you so well. I’m glad you have found this home.
Me too
Very philosophical
Love it 😻

yeah, I just gather what I need and stare out the window.
Lightness and Darkness, there is the balance. The magic.

I feel it as a privilege…

helps so much to look up and see the landscape. A longer view in winter for sure.

oh that’s some kind is iron bracket with a spiral on each side. does look a bit bird like.
Yes, you are right about a winter space.
He will, soon.
sometimes all we can do is keep going — one stitch in front of another or one foot in front of another.
A magical table, for sure, infused with the creativity of loved ones in addition to your own…💚
I love this table
stitches are like steps

Beth O~ Congrats on completing 2 years of medical treatment. May you remain healthy for years to come and enjoy time in your studio.
Thanks SO much, Jude! I am very happy & grateful. Your posts have been a source of hope and sanity during this crazy time. Onward!!

or create a new one
Yay for all is well.
Health has such an impact doesn’t it?
It’s a big thing for me, the in person thing, we’ll see.

Yeah, let’s relax into it…😂
Everything, everything, becomes part of it all.
A relief really.
